Graded Care Profile 2 (GCP2) is an evidence-based assessment tool that helps professionals measure the quality of care provided by a parent or carer in meeting their child's needs, particularly where there are concerns about neglect.
Wandsworth Safeguarding Children Partnership (WSCP) has implemented the use of GCP2 for all staff that work with children and families. To become a licensed practitioner to use the tool you will need to attend a one-day training course (listed in training programme). However, awareness sessions are available for those who just want to know some more about the tool.
